Here at Bluefoot, our approach to design starts with our clients. Before anything else we sit down with our clients, and using a Design Brief, (that has been tailored through experience) we collect as much information about the goals, values, and history of their company or business as possible.
Rather than asking what they’re favorite color is, or what type of font they love,
we ask questions like: “What makes your company unique?,” “What are the primary
goals of the new website, or site redesign?,” and “What kind of attitude or personality
are you working to portray your business as having?”
Although I always aim to please our clients with the “look” of their new site, that is secondary in relationship to purpose. A website is a tool for a business or company to achieve goals, and design - when used correctly, is a tool to help the website achieve those goals.
